Speech-Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Rosemead, CA

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 - $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders with evidence-based practices
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support patient goals and quality of life
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely
- Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education to support carryover and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapy staff to coordinate comprehensive care
- Advocate for patients and contribute to a positive, team-oriented care environment
Qualifications
- Active California SLP License (required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current BLS Certification
- SNF experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
- Available to start ASAP
Education
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Individualized treatment planning and goal setting
- Accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Patient and family education and training
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication
- BLS-certified clinical practice
