Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely, accurate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely, documenting per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate when needed
• Maintain clear, concise documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact RN license (required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS or PALS as applicable to the unit preferred
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred
• Current DEA/license requirements met for medication administration
• Ability to pass credentialing and background checks in a timely manner
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with common EHR systems and accurate charting practices
• Infection control, wound care, and patient safety best practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Professional bedside manner and effective patient/family education
