Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients during overnight shifts
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Respond to emergencies and execute nursing interventions with confidence
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico licensure or eligibility for state licensure)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous acute care or rehab nursing experience preferred
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
• Accurate documentation and electronic medical record navigation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities during overnight shifts
• Strong communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
