Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift). Alternate schedule option: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $126 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients via telemedicine, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care
- Perform virtual assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Document encounters thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record
- Coordinate care with specialists, local facilities, and care teams to ensure continuity
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care in clear, patient-centered language
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help optimize telehealth workflows
- Maintain professional standards, patient privacy, and compliance with telehealth regulations
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics
- Active California medical license required
- Board certification or board eligibility in a primary care specialty preferred
- DEA registration or ability to obtain DEA if required
- Experience with telemedicine or virtual care delivery preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Comfortable with clinical documentation and common EHR systems; strong computer skills
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- MD or DO (completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics)
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemedicine best practices and virtual exam techniques
- Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) in an outpatient setting
- Proficient EHR documentation and clinical charting
- Patient education and shared decision-making
- Basic troubleshooting of telehealth technology and workflows
- Familiarity with California telehealth regulations and privacy requirements
