Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support for residents' daily living needs
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and record resident vital signs and behavior changes accurately
- Document care activities and communicate observations to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use appropriate body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Promote dignity, independence, and a respectful environment for older adults
- Participate in team huddles and follow care plans to ensure continuity
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection control and safety precautions
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the team
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
