Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and independence
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality of care
- Support restorative and recreational activities to enhance residents’ quality of life
- Work collaboratively with nurses and rehab staff to follow care plans and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- Comfortable with basic documentation and following care plans
- BLS/CPR certification preferred but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Infection control principles and safe handling techniques
- Clear communication and teamwork in a clinical setting
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and reporting
