Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers to promote resident comfort and safety
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Support daily living activities and encourage resident independence
- Document care accurately and timely in the facility record system
- Communicate with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and emergencies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active CNA credentials in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain them
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and adapting to per diem schedules
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Safe resident transfer and mobility assistance
- Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
- Effective communication and teamwork in a long-term care setting
- Time management and reliable documentation habits
