Shift Type: Night, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (30-minute meal break); specific days not specified

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and positioning
- Take and record vital signs, and promptly report changes in condition
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention practices
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate with nursing staff
- Follow infection control protocols and facility safety procedures
- Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Active or eligible listing on the New Mexico CNA registry
- Demonstrated experience in long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and team members
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and comfort measures
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention best practices
- Clear, respectful communication and teamwork
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
