Shift Type: Per diem, Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight), days vary
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention measures
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
- Support infection control practices and maintain a clean patient environment
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Active or eligible to obtain state CNA certification for New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing is a plus but not required
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently during overnight shifts
- Must meet facility onboarding requirements including health screenings and background checks
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and bedside skills
- Comfortable with transfers, ADL assistance, and mobility support
- Good communication skills with patients and the care team
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Teamwork mindset and willingness to learn on the job
