Shift Type: Per-diem evenings, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Second/Evening shift); days vary per facility schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
- Support safe mobility and transfers, encouraging independence whenever possible
- Observe, report and document changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
- Provide compassionate personal care with dignity and respect for each resident
- Follow care plans and facility policies to maintain a safe, clean environment
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and team members to promote continuity of care
Qualifications
- GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent training
- Ability to work the evening 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift on a per-diem basis
- Demonstrated compassion, patience and strong communication skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe resident handling
- Facility-required health screenings and documentation (e.g., TB test, immunizations) as applicable
Education
- Completion of an approved GNA program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care practices and ADLs
- Skill in patient observation and accurate documentation
- Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- Awareness of infection control and safety procedures
