Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Night shift, 2nd shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and support to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and maintain clear resident records
- Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and picking up per diem shifts
- Basic life support/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass background and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and a heart for elder care
Education
- Completion of an accredited Geriatric Nursing Assistant program or equivalent
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident-centered care
- Experience assisting with ADLs and basic resident hygiene
- Ability to follow care plans and accurately chart care activities
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience with older adults
- Infection control practices and safe transfer techniques
