Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shifts (exact start/end times vary by unit); some weekends required — primarily daytime/rotating as needed
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and interventions for acute care patients
- Deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services when floating to the inpatient rehab unit
- Document assessments, progress, and discharge plans clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs and support staff to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on safe functional mobility, ADLs and home readiness
- Assist in safe transfers, adaptive equipment recommendation, and return-to-function planning
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain prior to assignment)
- OTR or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Experience in acute care; inpatient rehab experience a strong plus
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Strong clinical reasoning, good documentation skills, and comfort floating between units
- Professional, team-oriented attitude and reliable weekend availability as scheduled
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's or OTD) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in acute care occupational therapy evaluations and intervention planning
- Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation workflows and discharge planning
- Proficient in documentation within electronic medical records
- Ability to assess ADLs, mobility, cognition, and recommend adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient loads and float between units
