Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced radiation therapy treatments, including SBRT and SRS, with precision and care
• Perform complex CT simulations and analyze patient imaging to ensure accurate treatment setup
• Identify and resolve setup variances to maximize patient safety and treatment efficacy
• Lead and participate in daily equipment QA and coordinate service needs to maintain clinical readiness
• Mentor students and new staff; support training and competency development across the department
• Drive safety and quality improvement initiatives through incident learning and peer review participation
• Help develop departmental techniques, competencies, and policies to keep practices current
• Manage charge reconciliation and documentation when needed to maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(T) certification required with current state radiologic license
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
• Minimum 1-2 years of travel therapist experience preferred
• Demonstrated competency in CT Simulation and SRS/SBRT delivery; Brainlab experience preferred
• Completion of Radiation Therapist II Competency Advancement Checklist required
• EMR experience required: EPIC and ARIA
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and mentoring abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiation Therapy treatments and workflows, including SBRT and SRS
• CT Simulation techniques and patient imaging analysis
• Equipment QA procedures and service coordination
• Setup variance resolution and image-guided positioning
• Familiarity with EPIC and ARIA electronic medical records
• Experience with Brainlab systems is a plus
• Quality improvement processes, incident learning, and peer review practices
• Charge reconciliation and accurate clinical documentation
