Shift Type: Per diem, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide compassionate personal care and promote resident dignity and independence
- Help with safe transfers and mobility support, using proper body mechanics
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely records
- Support a positive, home-like environment and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent, person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB screening as required
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset
- Reliable transportation for per diem shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic geriatric care principles and resident-centered approach
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Infection prevention and standard precautions
- Accurate charting and documentation practices
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
