Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and safety
- Offer compassionate companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies at all times
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) — Maryland preferred
- Basic life support/CPR certification or willingness to obtain promptly
- Comfortable working with older adults and assisting with ADLs
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and TB testing as required
- Reliable transportation for per-diem shifts
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and dignity-centered care
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Infection control and standard precautions
- Good interpersonal skills and patience when supporting residents
