Shift Type: Per diem, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Day shift, days vary based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition promptly
- Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
- Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Help create a warm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred
- Current CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and perform resident care tasks safely
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Geriatric care best practices and sensitivity to age-related needs
- Assistance with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
- Infection control and hygiene standards
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Accurate charting and documentation
- Teamwork and clear, respectful communication with residents and staff
