Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, promoting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Support meal service and feeding assistance while encouraging independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans developed by the clinical team
- Foster a warm, respectful environment that supports residents' social and emotional needs
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent as required by Maryland
- Valid CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Previous experience working with older adults or in long-term care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and respectful elder care practices
- Basic infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to assist with mobility and transfer techniques safely
- Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
- Good observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
