Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care for critically ill adults and children in the ICU
• Manage ventilators and conduct complex airway interventions with precision
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
• Chart thoroughly and accurately in Epic to ensure continuity and safety of care
• Support unit needs by floating between like units when required
• Respect and follow facility policies for holidays, call-off coverage and RTO guidelines

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (critical care/ICU experience preferred)
• Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients
• Experience with Epic charting (listed as core skill)
• Willingness to work night shifts and alternating weekends
• Pending licenses are not accepted — must have active licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care and respiratory therapy expertise
• Pediatric and adult ICU patient care experience
• Proficient with Epic electronic charting
• Ability to float between like units and adapt to changing assignments
• Strong communication and teamwork in a high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with trauma center workflows (Level III Trauma Center setting)
