Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
- Take and record basic vital signs and observe changes in resident condition
- Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Document care activities accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
- Help create a calm, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR certification (preferred or able to obtain)
- Comfort working night shift hours and providing hands-on resident care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic geriatric care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
- Skill in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
- Ability to follow care plans and report observations clearly
- Compassionate bedside manner and patience with older adults
