Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support safe transfers and mobility assistance while using proper body mechanics
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotionally supportive care
- Follow individualized care plans and accurately document resident observations and care provided
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Help with mealtime assistance and ensure dietary needs are met
- Maintain infection control standards and keep resident environments clean and safe
- Communicate effectively with teammates and family members to support coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (state-required) — active and in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Recent experience working with geriatric or long-term care populations is a plus
- Current immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening per facility policy
- Compassionate patient focus, strong communication skills, and reliable attendance
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant program completion
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with ADLs and basic resident care
- Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic clinical observation and reporting skills
- Familiarity with infection control and hygiene best practices
- Comfortable with documentation and simple electronic charting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a care team
