Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, changes, and responses to care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living while promoting resident dignity
- Respond promptly to resident concerns and escalating clinical issues
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Prior experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM) as scheduled
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, professional, and committed to resident-focused care
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN diploma)
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Skilled in patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Infection control, wound care basics, and safe patient handling
- Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
