Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and respect
- Support mobility and transfers safely, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor and record vital signs and behavioral observations accurately and promptly
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents and report safety concerns
- Communicate compassionately with residents and their families to support emotional well-being
- Collaborate with the nursing team to implement care plans and follow directions from supervisors
- Document care provided in a clear and timely manner to ensure continuity and quality
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- Valid state certification or eligibility to work as a GNA in Maryland
- Comfortable working with older adults and in long-term care or assisted living settings
- Ability to pass background check, TB screening, and required health clearances
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of safe patient handling and infection control practices
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident mobility
- Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and coworkers
- Reliable documentation and time-management habits
