Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients of all ages quickly and accurately in a busy ED
• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care across medical, trauma, and fast-track cases
• Manage patient flow through a 15-bed emergency department plus a 6-bed fast track
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate timely care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient education thoroughly and professionally
• Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) — current Hawaii RN license required
• Experience or interest in Emergency Department nursing and fast-track operations
• Comfortable caring for patients across the lifespan — pediatric through adult
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
