Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and facility policies
- Monitor resident condition, document changes, and communicate concerns to the care team
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident independence and dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely charting in the resident record
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts required
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing settings
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN/LVN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Skilled in resident assessment and reporting changes in condition
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
- Comfortable with electronic charting and documentation
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy environment
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
