Shift Type: Per diem / varied days (as-needed), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Provide compassionate, respectful care that preserves dignity and comfort
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Help with safe transfers and positioning to reduce risk of falls and injury
- Maintain accurate resident documentation and communicate clearly with nurses and families
- Support infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Participate as a team player during shift handoffs and care planning
Qualifications
- Current GNA / state nursing assistant certification (required)
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Education
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Completion of an approved GNA/state nursing assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skill in safe resident transfers and mobility assistance
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, documentation, observing changes in condition
- Familiarity with infection control practices and PPE use
- Good time management, teamwork, and the ability to follow care plans
