Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort during every shift
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding with patience and respect
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
• Maintain a safe, clean care environment and follow infection control best practices
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and family members
• Support mobility and fall prevention efforts while encouraging resident independence
• Contribute to a positive team culture by stepping in where needed and offering a kind, patient-centered approach

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
• Current credentialing as required by the facility and state of Pennsylvania
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or facility-required upon hire
• Comfort working night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and flexibility for per diem scheduling
• Able to pass background check, drug screen, and health screenings as required
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a genuine desire to help others

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in providing ADL support with compassion and dignity
• Basic vital signs measurement and reporting
• Knowledge of infection control standards and safe patient handling
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic or paper charting
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident safety
