Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to patients in the assigned unit
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with protocols and scope of practice
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record to support continuity and safety
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to create and implement individualized care plans
• Support patient and family education — explain procedures and help them feel comfortable and informed
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential — must hold current, valid license
• Graduation from an accredited practical or registered nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and managing multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Proficient documentation and charting practices
• Medication administration knowledge and attention to detail
• Infection prevention and safety best practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced healthcare environment
