Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for diverse adult populations
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document care and clinical findings clearly and timely in the medical record
• Monitor patient conditions and escalate changes in status promptly
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote safe transitions

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Mexico or eligibility for state licensure (multistate compact license accepted if applicable)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS encouraged
• Previous acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required onboarding requirements
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent patient assessment and triage skills
• Safe medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Skilled in documentation and time management in fast-paced settings
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and follow care protocols
• Comfortable with patient and family education and discharge planning
