Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned shifts
- Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings accurately
- Administer medications and IV therapies safely and according to policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs and escalating clinical situations
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and self-care
- Ensure accurate handoffs and clear communication at shift change
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or PALS a plus
- Comfortable with 12-hour night shift clinical responsibilities
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently on per diem shifts
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of inpatient nursing practices and patient assessment
- Medication administration and IV/infusion management
- Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
- Comfort with urgent care needs and rapid clinical decision making
- Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
