Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Night

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to older adults
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Monitor and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly
- Accurately document care, observations, and resident responses
- Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures during transfers
- Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Current state registry or equivalent documentation as required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work night shifts and flexible per diem schedule
- Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of geriatric care principles and ADL assistance
- Comfort taking and recording vital signs and simple observations
- Good charting and documentation habits
- Strong teamwork, time management, and prioritization
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with residents
