Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support safe mobility and transfers while promoting resident independence
- Assist with meal service and monitor nutritional intake
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtain upon hire
- Comfort working in long-term care or similar settings; previous experience a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to varying per-diem schedules
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Knowledge of safe transfer and mobility techniques
- Basic vital signs and observation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention practices
- Comfortable documenting care and communicating observations
- Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
