Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, day shift (schedule varies)

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Observe and document resident status and communicate concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and promote independence
- Follow facility policies, complete required charting, and participate in care planning
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Pennsylvania) — required
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain promptly
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a state-approved CNA program and certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs
- Proficient with taking and documenting vital signs
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety procedures
- Familiarity with safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and staff
- Basic charting and documentation skills
