Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening)

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Support safe mobility and transfers, promoting independence when possible
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with coworkers and families
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Help create a positive, dignified experience for every resident
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification and active listing on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks, TB screening, and health clearances
- Comfortable with resident lifting/assistance and following safety protocols
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus, new grads welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED and completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident-centered care and bedside manner
- Clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
- Good documentation habits and attention to detail
- Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
- Ability to work well under direction and adapt to changing needs
