Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care to adolescent through geriatric patients in a Level III trauma ICU
- Manage invasive lines and advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines
- Operate and titrate ventilators and vasoactive medication per facility protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
- Serve as a unit resource by supporting charge or preceptor duties when needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety and optimize outcomes
- Float to PCU as needed to support patient flow and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license (must be uploaded with profile)
- Minimum 2+ years of current ICU experience (required)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- NIHSS certification (required)
- Proven experience with arterial lines, ventilator management, IV drips, vasoactive medications and hemodynamic monitoring
- Reliable transportation: traveler must have own vehicle
- Charge nurse and preceptor experience is a strong plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC documentation and workflows
- Expertise in ventilator management and respiratory care
- Comfortable managing arterial lines and interpreting hemodynamic data
- Skilled with titrating vasoactive medications and monitoring responses
- Strong critical thinking in Level III trauma and diverse patient populations
- Effective communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams
