Shift Type: Rotating AM/PM and evening shifts including weekends (AM, PM, evenings); 3 full-time and 1 part-time positions on the team; specific start/end times vary and will be discussed at interview
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mobile X-ray exams using portable digital (DR) and computed (CR) equipment and ensure images are clinically diagnostic
- Transmit images and studies to Radiologists for timely interpretation
- Perform EKGs as needed and send them to Cardiologists for review
- Safely load, unload and transport portable imaging equipment into patient care areas
- Maintain and troubleshoot vehicle and imaging equipment to ensure reliable service
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, management, clients and peers
- Provide compassionate patient care and position patients to obtain high-quality images
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- Valid California state radiologic license (limited licenses not accepted)
- Valid driver’s license in good standing for the applicable state
- Vaccination against COVID-19 required or documented exemption
- Comfortable performing mobile imaging in varied care settings including nursing homes and post-acute facilities
- Ability to push/pull and handle equipment (50–100 lbs at times) with safe body mechanics
- Strong documentation practices and experience with scanning and transmitting studies
Education
- ARRT certification (required)
- California state radiologic license (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in portable X-ray techniques and patient positioning
- Experience with digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR)
- Ability to perform and transmit EKGs when required
- Familiarity with image transmission/PACS workflows and image processing
- Equipment maintenance awareness and mobile unit operation
- Clear communication with dispatch, management and clinical staff
- Comfortable with documentation, scanning and daily administrative protocols
