Roles & Responsibilities
- Direct the hospital’s operations during evenings, nights and weekends, ensuring safe, efficient patient care
- Oversee inpatient units and coordinate with ancillary and support departments that operate during your shift
- Act as a clinical role model—make prompt, high-quality decisions in urgent and complex situations
- Support and coach staff through change, fostering consistency, fairness and strong teamwork
- Manage multiple intense activities calmly and prioritize resources to maintain smooth operations
- Handle staffing oversight and daily operational decisions, including conflict resolution when needed
- Maintain dependable presence and work ethic to motivate and guide clinical teams during non-day hours
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts (must be uploaded with profile)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree (MSN) is a plus
- Minimum 3 years of successful leadership/supervisory experience (required)
- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Demonstrated experience in critical care, emergency/trauma and acute care operations
- Proven conflict resolution skills and at least one supervisory signed reference from the past two years (required)
- Working knowledge of staffing systems (preferred)
- Traveler must have own vehicle and include permanent address and any RTO in profile prior to submission
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — required
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field — desirable but not required

- Staffing systems and daily operations of a medical center

- Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory experience
