Shift Type: Days to be scheduled, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting—with dignity and compassion
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities
- Document care accurately and timely in resident records
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies to maintain a healthy environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with families
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or state-recognized nursing assistant credential
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience working with older adults or in long-term care is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or state CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
- Basic vital signs monitoring and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safe handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for resident and family interaction
- Basic computer or electronic charting familiarity is helpful
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nursing staff
