Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients by assisting with activities of daily living
- Support patient mobility and transfers safely, using proper equipment and techniques
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
- Perform accurate, timely documentation of care and resident status
- Assist with meal service, feeding, and basic hygiene while preserving patient dignity
- Collaborate with the care team to promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in North Carolina
- Active CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate demeanor with good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
- Previous CNA experience a plus, but enthusiastic learners are encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA training program and state certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in basic patient care and ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Clear, professional communication with patients, families, and team members
- Reliable documentation and time-management skills
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
