Shift Type: Per diem scheduling, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal support
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
- Follow infection prevention and facility safety protocols consistently
- Encourage social engagement and emotional well-being for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- GNA class certification (as listed in the posting) required
- State GNA/CNA certification or eligibility to obtain required credentials
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care tasks
- Basic clinical skills: taking vital signs, observing and reporting changes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with residents and staff
- Time management and organizational skills for busy shift workflows
- Understanding of infection control and safety best practices
- Compassion, patience, and the ability to build rapport with older adults
