Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
- Support safe mobility and transfers, following care plans and infection control procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Participate in recreational and social activities to promote resident engagement and well-being
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
- Comfortable working with the geriatric population and assisting with ADLs
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing as required by the facility
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of an approved GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic geriatric care principles and elder needs
- Skill in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Clear documentation and basic charting competency
- Understanding of infection control and safe patient handling
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
