Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and support
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform routine assessments and monitor patient status
- Document care clearly and timely in the patient record
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with procedures and support patients with activities of daily living
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to advocate for patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing (state licensure required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility background and health screenings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation accuracy
- Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
- Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
