Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient conditions to ensure safe, effective care
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Document patient care clearly in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
- Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
- Respond to changes in patient status and assist in emergency situations
- Promote infection prevention and maintain a safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (or compact-license eligible)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
- Previous acute care or relevant RN experience preferred
- Comfort and competence working night shifts and independently on per-diem assignments
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass facility background checks
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

- Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
- Medication administration and IV therapy skills
- Proficient documentation in electronic health records
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Critical thinking, triage, and emergency response
- Teamwork, patient education, and family communication
