Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct resident care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and fall prevention efforts
• Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, and toileting with dignity and respect
• Communicate clearly with the care team and document care accurately
• Contribute to a positive resident experience through kindness and reliability
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification — NH or VT licensure acceptable
• Comfortable working night shift hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and every other weekend
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks, immunization and TB screening as required
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to resident-centered care
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved LNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident care and bedside manner skills
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, transfers
• Accurate documentation and communication with nursing staff
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Dependability for night and weekend coverage
