Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Document care activities clearly and timely in the resident record
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and the care team
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices

Qualifications

• Valid state LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant certification (required)
• Travel LNA (T-LNA) classification recognized — travel candidates welcome
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working the 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM day shift and flexible for weekend coverage
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a team
• Clean background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and promoting resident independence
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to measure and document vital signs and intake/output
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and families
• Competence in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with electronic or paper charting practices
