Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care with professionalism and heart
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical changes promptly
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and care team members to optimize outcomes
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff to ensure coordinated care
• Contribute to a positive culture of safety, infection control, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine or eligibility for Maine licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous LPN experience preferred; strong clinical judgment and confidence with med administration
• Ability to pass background check and required screenings
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in a fast-paced care environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program; LPN diploma or certificate required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Resident assessment and basic wound care knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Infection prevention and control principles
• Compassionate bedside manner and focus on quality of life
