Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding)
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers and fall prevention to protect residents
• Monitor resident status and promptly report any changes to nursing staff
• Accurately document care and resident observations in the medical record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans
• Support a respectful, positive environment that promotes resident dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in New Mexico (T-CNA credential preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts on Thursday–Saturday and traveling to the assignment site
• Reliable, compassionate, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; Current state-approved CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient-centered care and assistance with ADLs
• Infection control and safe handling techniques
• Accurate vital signs, observation and basic assessments
• Clear documentation and familiarity with basic charting/EHRs
• Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize during long shifts and maintain attention to detail
