Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient condition with thoughtful, thorough clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document patient care and progress clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote recovery and wellness
- Follow facility protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and DHS requirements
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) credentials (active and in good standing)
- Active Delaware business license required to staff in DE
- Active DHS account required (must have an account with DHS)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or facility-required equivalent)
- Comfortable working per-diem/evening shifts and adapting to varied clinical settings
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Safe medication administration and IV/line management
- Effective documentation and electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Clear communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
- Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
