Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents including ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility, promoting independence whenever possible
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents' comfort and dignity
- Document resident care and observations clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver consistent, high-quality care
- Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current LNA / Licensed Nursing Assistant credential (required)
- Availability to work weekends as noted in the schedule
- Comfortable working the 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM day shift
- Travel LNA (T-LNA) classification is a plus (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents and team members
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) support
- Able to take and accurately chart vital signs
- Understanding of basic infection control practices
- Competent with resident transfer techniques and safe patient handling
- Clear documentation and reporting skills
- Team-oriented mindset and respectful resident-centered care
