Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
- Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly and promptly
- Monitor patients’ conditions and communicate changes to supervising clinicians
- Support infection control, safety protocols and facility policies on every shift
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current and in good standing
- Valid immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain if required)
- Reliable transportation required (LOCAL ONLY — you must have your own vehicle)
- Comfort working evenings and adapting to per diem scheduling needs
- Professional communication skills and ability to work within a care team
Education
- LPN diploma or equivalent from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and observational skills
- Clear documentation skills and familiarity with electronic charting (if available)
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and respond calmly in urgent situations
- Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and patient-education skills
