Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Perform regular assessments and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Maintain clear, timely electronic and paper charting
- Support patient comfort, dignity, and education during care transitions
- Follow facility policies and infection control practices to keep everyone safe
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (New Hampshire license preferred)
- Local candidates only as noted in the order
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Clinical experience in a long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to work evenings and adapt to per diem scheduling
- Immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
Education
- LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical nursing education
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Patient assessment and basic wound care knowledge
- Comfortable with vital sign monitoring and routine nursing procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with electronic health record charting
- Ability to prioritize and manage time during busy evening shifts
